PROGRAMS
In addition to the regularly scheduled programs below, Red Cross holds blood drives at the Center; and we also provide space to be used as a polling place for the residents of the city of Bourbon. We welcome guests from all around the area to an Annual Fall Parade and Festival held in and around the Community Center.
The Bourbon Area Community Center rents a portion of the building to the Crawford County Library District: Bourbon Branch which is open 6 days a week. In addition to a good selection of books, audio books and tapes, they also provide a place for people to come in and use their free WIFI and computers.
The Event Room is used 5 days a week by the Aging Best Program, which brings healthy lunches from the Cuba, Missouri Senior Center to the senior citizens of Bourbon. Seniors can come to the center for a good meal & socialization with their friends & neighbors. The Program also offers exercise, games, music and they celebrate holidays, birthdays and anniversaries together. They can also use the free WIFI in the event center. The Free WIFI is generously provided by the Blue Bit Internet Service Company.
